1965 DONRUSS HOT ROD BUBBLE GUM

More commonly referred to with the 'SPEC SHEET' title found on the back of each card. Produced in conjunction with "Hot Rod Magazine" and the first sports themed product by Donruss.
Card backs indicate Series 1 (no other series were released). Some card backs have a paragraph describing the car pictured on the front. Others have a more educational purpose and include the definition of a handful of hot rod racing terms called the “Hot Rod Dictionary”.
Wax Packs and Boxes are ex
tremely rare. Apparently there are two different wax packs and boxes; yellow packs issued in 1965 with checkerboard packs being reissues for 1966 or later.
